By reading and analyzing every published study used to "prove" vaccines do not cause autism, this website (14studies.org) will show you that:
~ No real world studies of the vaccine schedule have ever been done. Of the 11 separate vaccines given to American children (many given multiple times), only one vaccine -- the MMR -- has ever been studied for its relationship to autism. Yet, American children get 6 or 7 different vaccines simultaneously at 2, 4, 6, and 12 month doctor appointments.

Burton has a personal stake in the growing controversies in autism, and has said his grandson became autistic a few days after receiving nine innoculations. "My only grandson became autistic right before my eyes – shortly after receiving his federally recommended and state-mandated vaccines."
In an October 25, 2000, letter to the Department of Health and Human Services, acting in his role as Chairman of the House Committee on Government Reform, Burton asked the agency's director to get the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to recall all vaccines containing the neurotoxin thimerosal. I highly respect the work Congressman Burton is doing. Watching the FDA representative squirm in his seat in this video makes me sick. They know they are in the wrong! God bless Congressman Burton and the children of our nation.

Yes, mercury was removed from most vaccines, but is still found in the flu shot (given to pregnant women and infants as early as 6 months old) as well as in a few other vaccines in trace amounts.
